Sesquicentennial Dinner 2022
We are at last able to conduct the long-delayed dinner to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the founding of Sydney Rowing Club. The club was established in 1870, with the first boatshed constructed on the site that is now occupied by the Sydney Opera House. The club’s Board planned to celebrate the Sesquicentenary of the club by running a Sesquicentennial Dinner in 2020 but the pandemic made this impossible. With Covid-19 concerns now greatly reduced, we can go ahead.

Guest Speaker: Robert Jahrling.
After an outstanding rowing career, Robert Jahrling established himself in a successful career as an investment banker. He will speak at the dinner on the subject of “Preparing for Life after Rowing”, a matter that he is very passionate about.
