The Smoking Goat
“The Smoking Goat” is a collaboration between the Sydney Rowing Club and The Dedes Group. This new dining experience created in 2016 is a combination of two amazing elements. Firstly, the use of the smoking technique to create some really unique and flavoursome dishes and secondly to provide a modern twist on the natural extension of the Dedes Greek heritage, combining the philosophy of producing the freshest and most flavoursome produce with the ethos that great food should be shared with friends. Hence the name “The Smoking Goat”. This unique menu is complemented by a fully refurbished dining space designed to be opened to the natural surrounds which allow you to fully experience this unique picturesque stretch of the Parramatta River, one which we have proudly called home for almost 150 years.
We believe that the careful planning of The Smoking Goat has created an experience that ticks many boxes, providing the flexibility to be enjoyed as a casual lunch with good friends to the perfect setting to celebrate a special occasion.
