Rowing Program
We specialise in elite programs for men and women in lightweight and heavyweight sculling and sweep oar events.
Our coaching team offer a unique blend of experience and enthusiasm, headed by Olympic gold medallist Gary Robertson and national junior coach Glenn Bates. They are assisted by volunteer coaches, deeply committed to the club, including triple Olympian, elite and Olympic coach Michael Morgan and Olympian Stephen Handley.
Young men and women entering our elite development program aim to continue our recent successful representation in Australian and international events including FISA Junior (U19), Youth (U21) and Senior B (U23).
Sydney Rowing Club offers Q. L. Deloitte scholarships to selected athletes to assist with training expenses and to facilitate the continuation of their education whilst training and competing.
The outstanding success of our masters athletes is evidence of the strength and diversity of our Club. Many continue active competition having competed for the Club for over 50 years.
